the hunt is over
Have you ever seen someone post a picture on instagram and spend time hunting down their exact outfit with no luck of finding it? Because I know I have and it was horrible and time consuming, but after discovering an app called 'The Hunt' I no longer have to! This is the most helpful app I have ever downloaded and it's free!

You can upload pictures of the outfit you like, add hashtags, your budget and description to the post, upload it and watch people reply with direct links to similar or sometimes the exact item you are looking for! You can also offer your help and 'find' items for other people, such as if you see a top that you know is from Urban Outfitters simply click 'find' and post it on the person's upload! It's so amazing and helpful and I'm bummed I didn't find out about it sooner!
I highly recommend checking this app out, but WARNING, it does make you spend money, which is exactly what I love doing!

Get the look for less - Kylie Jenner
Most people who know me will know that I am in love with all things Kardashian and Jenner related so I will most likely do a post like this on all sisters. Kylie Jenner has always been my favourite sister and it makes me extremely jealous that she is a year younger than me, it's really not fair how good she looks all the time. Her style is varied which I love. She can rock the 'grunge' look and go to a very sophisticated outfit the next. I try and style my outfits off of her which can be hard when most of her clothes are way out of my budget, so I thought I would do more 'Get the look for less' type posts, and what better way than to start off with my own style icon?

I love this look she wore not too long ago. It's so simple and easy to recreate. The dress and boots go so well and give a real 90's vibe to the outfit. Unfortunately I have not mastered the art of wearing an oversized denim dress yet but Kylie definitely has! I'm not entirely sure where her whole outfit is from but I'm sure it probably cost a lot of money considering she wears $36k worth of bracelets on her wrist at one time.
Recreate this look for less:
1. Dress
2. Boots
3. Sunglasses
4. Watch
The next outfit is another of my favourite outfits that I have seen Kylie wear. It's so simple yet classy and the top and skirt can both be styled with so many other pieces of clothing making them great pieces to have in your wardrobe.
Recreate this look for less:
1. Top
2. Skirt
3. Shoes
4. Bag
Leave a comment below telling me your style inspirations and your favourite fashion trend at the moment (because I'm nosy but I also want to get to know more bloggers).

Sole Affair wishlist
As most of you already know, I love buying new boots and shoes all the time. It's an addiction, I cannot stop myself. Lately I have discovered a new website called Sole Affair, they have the most beautiful shoes I have seen in a while, as well as selling handbags, clothes and accessories at the most amazing prices! What more could a girl want in a shop?
I have put together a wishlist of the items I have been lusting over (and have to wait until payday to order *insert sad emoji*) so that I could show all my wonderful followers another site that I am 100% sure you will all love!
1. I have been lusting over a pair of thigh high boots for so long now, everywhere I look they are really expensive or out of stock! Ever since I saw Kylie Jenner and many more of my style icons rocking them I have needed them! This pair look so lovely and at only £34.95 they are a total steal! These boots also come in grey and red. Link to the boots are here.
2. Now as you can probably tell by just looking at this wishlist, I love my chunky black boots and for only £24.95 who wouldn't? The heel and platform are a good height for people like me who tend to fall over and faceplant the floor in heels. This style is the perfect way to rock a heel without even feeling like you are! The cut-out detail is amazing to show some cute frilly socks. Style these with any dress and you'll look great! Find them here.
3. Sorry if the chunky black boots get boring but another pair that are to die for (slight exaggeration)! I've been so close to buying these boots in places like h&m but these are 10x nicer and the same price as the last boots I've listed! I can honestly say I cannot wait to order these boots on payday. They are the perfect way to 'rock up' a plain outfit. The exact boots are here.
4. This set of shoes are a little different from my usual taste but something about them made me fall in love! I've loved the 'skater' style shoe for a while and the gold and fringe detail on the front just make them so unique! I love them! They also come in white. Find them here.
5. The final set of shoes I picked out are definitely out of my comfort zone! The holographic design on the straps of the shoes make them look so pretty and they would be perfect in the summer time and for going out in the evening. Again, the platform will make them so comfortable to walk in and barely even feel like you are wearing heels which is something that I love. They have a variety of other colours on the website too for people who may like the style but not the exact colour. Buy them here.
Be sure to visit the website and leave a comment here telling me your favourite shoes from there!

Public Desire are my new desire.
I'm sure most people have heard of the online brand Public Desire by now. They have the most beautiful boots and heels for the most amazing prices. I thought I would check them out a few weeks ago now and I honestly fell in love with 99% of the website. I had to stop myself from buying too much!
The quality is amazing for the price, the heel is 1" which is perfect for anyone of any height. They are so comfortable, but I found I had to wear them in a little bit for them to fit my feet perfectly as my feet are quite wide.
You can wear these with anything from jeans and leggings, to dresses and skirts. I feel they really 'edge' up any outfit. Personally I love teaming these boots up with black jeans, a plain t-shirt and a leather jacket, I feel like that gives the 'rock chick' look which I really love.
I 100% recommend anyone to check out this website if you are looking for affordable yet amazing quality boots.
The link to the exact boots can be found here.

review of my 2014 bucket list & new goals for 2015!
So for my first blog post of the new year (and my first one in a while due to lack of motivation and constantly working) I thought I would review the bucket list/goals that I set for myself this time last year and see what I achieved and what I didn't. I thought this would be a good idea to make myself feel a little bit more positive about things that I achieved within the year and set more goals for myself this year.
My bucket list/goals post from last year can be found here.
First of all on my list was to be a more positive person, I really did try and do this within the past year, I think I achieved in some aspects like my attitude towards life and other people but not really towards myself which is really something I would love to work on this year.
I did not join the gym at all, if anything I actually gained a lot more weight than what I wanted to. But I am joining the gym within the week with my friend and have purchased all the clothes to get me motivated to start sometime soon!
Next was to go to Paris with my boyfriend, this didn't happen last year but we did end up going on holiday to Turkey which was lovely and I enjoyed it so much!
The fourth one on my list was the only one so far that I did actually achieve, and that was to pass college with all distinctions! If you're currently in college and reading this I promise you all the hard work pays off in the end and you will be so thankful, trust me I am!
I didn't end up going to University last year, I decided to take a year out to focus on myself and other aspects in my life and intend on going this year, I am sending off my application this week and I am so nervous again!
Number 5 was to travel to Australia for Christmas, but unfortunately my work situation would not let me have a whole month in December off, but hopefully I will get out there sometime soon and see my family!
I'll tie 6 & 7 in together, I tried to be more social but I really struggle with meeting new people. I would say that I have stayed in touch with most of my friends from college, and I do go out a lot with my friends from work, so in some ways I achieved this, but in some ways I didn't.
Plucking up the courage to start a youtube channel is something I will need a little bit more time to work on. I need to stop worrying and go for it!
I guess I did explore the world a little bit more as I did head to Turkey, it was so nice to see how other countries live and go about their everyday lives and to see different cultures. I would love to see more of the world this year but I do need to get over my fear of flying as I cried pretty much the whole way to Turkey and back!
10 was to hit 4k followers on twitter (I don't quite know why that was a goal but oh well!) and I did!
Getting over phobias is not something I think I will ever achieve, I am scared of a lot of things and it will take a lot more than a year to get over most of them, if I ever could at all.
If anything I spent more money last year than any year at all, I got myself a new job where I got paid more so to me that meant more spending and not saving up for important things like a car and more driving lessons! Oops!
Blogging 5 times a week clearly did not happen and I'm really sorry. I got so lost with working and college and trying to be more social I completely lost touch with my blog and I would love to work on that this year and start posting more!
Due number 13 failing I didn't end up achieving number 14 but again I really wish to this year!
I will post my 'goals for 2015' within the next few days once I have really thought about everything that I want to achieve!
Let me know in the comments your goals for this year? I would love to read them all!

what's in my bag?
I have never done one of these posts before and seeing as I just got a new bag I thought I would show you what I keep in my bag.
| Primark - £10 |
I didn't realize how light I actually travel. Oops.
Things I carry around on an everyday basis are;
- of course my make up bag, what girl goes out without one?!
- my purse (£4 primark, what a bargain!)
- bus pass, because unfortunatley I have to travel to college and work.
- Deodorant and my body spray I'm wearing that day.
- last but not least, my college lanyard and a pen, how boring!
OOTD | 5th april 2014
I thought I would quickly show my OOTD. This is my first post like this so I had to do the 'mirror' selfie to show the outfit. I picked this playsuit up for £5! Primark is the best place to go right now! & I'm just pairing that with some black tights and my black converses (can you tell I like the colour black?)

dove summer glow | review
My mum has been obsessing over this product for over a year now, and now the weather is starting to get nicer I thought I would try it out instead of being pale all summer.
This is a moisturiser but it slowly builds up a tan at the same time. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I'm in love with it. I don't have any pictures of how pale I was before using so I couldn't really upload a picture of my tan now to compare. It brings out such a lovely natrual looking tan as well as leaving your skin so soft. I apply this after having a shower and it works wonders. It hasn't left any streaks on me so far and blends so nicely.
It is sold in about 3 different shades. I chose 'normal to dark' as I wanted quite a dark tan.

top 5 under £5!
Seeing as I haven't been posting a lot, I thought I would just quickly do a post. I have so many great ideas for posts, but without a camera it's a bit hard to take decent looking photos!
Face:
Of course the Collection 'lasting perfection' concealer would be on this list. For only £4.19 it is such a high quality concealer and has been compared to many high end concealers. I'm sure you've heard many beauty bloggers preaching about this product so I won't go on any longer.
MUA is one of my favorite drugstore brands. The blushers are only £1 each! (some range to £3 but no higher). The pigmentation of these is amazing. Personally I prefer my MUA blushers to my MAC blushers and for £14 cheaper!? Why not?!
Eyes:
Next is another MUA product, oops. This eyeshadow pallette is only £4! Yes, you read that correctly, £4 for 12 eyeshadows! You just can't say no...
The only eyeliner I use on my waterline is the Rimmel 'Exaggerate Waterproof' eyeliner. For a steal of £3.99 it's amazing, stays on all day without smudging and I love it.
Lips:
Last but not least is, yet again, another MUA product. These lipsticks are only £1 and last all day long! I would recommend MUA to anyone just starting out in makeup and aren't sure what suits them, for such a cheap price, if you love it; great! If you don't; at least it didn't break your bank balance!

Fashion and Make up Haul | February - March 2014
I've been shopping quite a bit over these past 3-4 days so I thought I would should you all what I've picked up on my travels. (Again, sorry for the quality of the pictures, still haven't purchased a new camera yet so iPhone quality will have to do for now!)
Primark.
Primark this month have had so many amazing things I wish I could buy but I have had to restrain myself. It's a great place to buy essentials and basics, which is exactly what I've done this month.
The black skater skirt was only £1!!! How could I say no?!
Floral slouchy PJ pants - £6
Tights - £2.50
Camden Market.
Breaking Bad jumper - £15 1D phone case - £5
MAC.
How could I go to London without visiting MAC? I couldn't. Covent Garden is the closest MAC store to where I live in Essex. All I purchased on this visit was the blusher in the shade 'Peachykeen' for £18, now I know that's quite expensive but the quality of their blush is amazing and I will put a review up soon. The lipstick is in the shade 'Snob' and it's the most beautiful pink colour I've ever seen. Again, I will post a review on that soon, and it was £15.
Topshop
'Kiss Me' shirt - £16 (I couldn't find the exact one to link, but I have found one very similar)
H&M
I never used to shop in H&M but over these past couple of months I have been loving some of the things they've had in and it's become pretty much my favourite shop. One thing I will say though, when looking at skirts and trousers in there, try them on in the shop, I am a size 10 in every shop but I will be having to take the skirt back to get a 12 because it is ridiculously tight on me.
Tartan Skirt - £14.99
I have linked everything that I could find on the posts, thank you for reading. Be sure to follow to see more reviews and hauls like this one!

suggestions please?
Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I've been so busy.
Tomorrow I'm going on a trip to camden/covent garden, whilst there I will be visiting the MAC store, I would just like to know any recommendations on what I should get and what you think is good. Leave it in the comments and any reviews to any products as well would be great, thank you!

top current fashion trends
Monochrome:
This has always been a huge fashion trend which I don't think will ever fade. It's so easy to wear and it gives an outfit quite a classy look and it's been seen all over the latest fashion shows and the hottest celebs.
Body Chains:
These are such a beautiful piece of jewellery and really help to turn a plain outfit into something else. Wearing this with a crop top and high-waisted jeans would look amazing. Celebs such as Kylie Jenner have been seen wearing these lately and they are available in pretty much any shop whether it be high end or high street.
Pastels:
Pastels always come back into fashion this time of year when spring is approaching and this year will be no different. Pastels are being seen all over the fashion shows lately and are everywhere in the shops. This is such a lovely trend with such a wide range of colours and designs everywhere to suit everyone too.

style icon
Kylie has been an idol of mine for quite a while now, which makes me feel silly seeing as she is 2 years younger than me. She is beautiful and her style is by far the best. She has such a casual and 'punky' (that's not even a word but oh well) style but loves to spice it up a little bit by throwing on a pair of heels every now and then.
I will post a couple of 'get the look' posts soon, most likely including Kylie on there. I just wanted to make a quick post today because seeing as it's half term I'm trying to be as active as possible!
Be sure to follow for more fashion and beauty posts.

high end wishlist
So the other day I posted my current 'drugstore' wishlist, so now I thought I would do a 'follow up' type post and share with you my 'high end' makeup wishlist too.
1. NARS 'Laguna' bronzing powder - £26
I have heard such amazing reviews about this products but have never got round to trying it simply because of the very high price of it. I am currently saving up and I plan of splurging out on this soon.
2. MAC 'Rebel' lipstick - £15
MAC lipsticks are raved about all over the beauty industry and because I don't live near a MAC store I haven't yet got round to picking one up, but I have been eyeing up the lipstick in the shade 'Rebel' which is a dark purple colour and will be picking it up on my trip to london in a couple of weeks, which means a review will be coming soon too!
3. Benefit 'HOOLA' bronzer - £23.50
Yet again, another bronzer, oh well.
4. Urban Decay Naked palettes - £37 each
Now I'm pretty sure EVERYONE has heard of these and need them as much as I do in my life. All of the colours in every palette are beautiful and the packaging is so pretty looking. This has been on my wishlist for quite some time now and I really need to turn the dream of owning these products into a reality.

drugstore wishlist
1. The L'oreal True Match foundation. £9.99
I have heard so many good reviews on this foundation and I have been using the same foundation for ages now so when the ones I have now begin to run out I should for sure be purchasing this one and trying it out for myself!
2. Batiste dry shampoo. £2.99
Now I have never been one to use dry shampoos but lately being so busy I've been tempted to purchase one and try it out in case I don't have time to wash my hair!
3. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. £4.99
I have tried out the L'oreal Skin Perfection and now I would love to try out this one just to be able to compare the two and find out my favourite out of them both.
4. Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Kohl Eyeliner. £2.99 - £3.99
This is a random one, basically I haven't purchased a new eyeliner in a while and I need too. So yeah, this ones boring, oops sorry.
5. Sleek 'Blush by 3'. £9.99
I have heard such amazing reviews on all of the Sleek blushers and really need to try some out for myself. They have the most beautiful colour range and I can't wait to purchase one of these products sometime soon.

January Favourites
This is my very first favourites post since I started my blog, so I thought I would share with you what I have been loving over this past month.
Hair and Beauty.
The first thing I have been loving this month is the L'oreal studio 'Matt and Messy' salt spray. This has been a product I purchase over and over again anyway. It gives such a nice textured look to your hair without weighing it down and making it look greasy like I found other salt sprays do. It is only £3.75 in drugstores and the bottle lasts ages. Recommend picking this up and giving it a try!
I feel a theme coming along here, my next product is the L'oreal 'Triple Active Day' moisturiser. I got this a gift for Christmas and I have been using it every day and night since. I love it. It really helps to keep my skin looking healthy and has not made me break out at all which I normally do when I find new products. It is normally £6.49, but boots are doing it for £4.33 so go pick it up whilst the offer is on! You will not be disappointed.
Next is the best foundation I have ever bought in my life. Oh I love it. It is the MAC 'Matchmaster' foundation. I got mine in the shade 1.5, but I could've done with a shade lighter, but that's fine. It blends perfectly into my skin and adapts to my skin tone as well. It is a full coverage and the tiniest blob of it goes a long way. If you've never tried a high end foundation but want to, I suggest this one. It retails for £27, which I know is expensive but as I said a little blob goes a long way and you won't be needing to repurchase anytime soon! Click here to read my full review.
My favourite lip product this month has been the Topshop lipstick in the shade 'Inhibition' I included it in my 'whats in my makeup bag' post. It is the most beautiful dark purple shade. It looks so nice on any skin tone and lasts pretty much all day. It sells in most Topshop stores for £8.
And finally for the beauty favourites of the month is the L'oreal 'Miss Manga' mascara. This was only recently bought out in the UK and many shops had it on offer, so I thought I'd go and pick up one (or maybe 3). This is the best mascara I have tried, yes, it beats the 'They're real' by Benefit in my opinion. It is only £8.99 which I think is amazing. It adds so much length and volume and really opens your eyes up. Click here to read my full review.
Fashion.
Now my last blog post was on these boots so I won't speak a lot about them. These have been my favourite shoes since before I even got them! They are so comfortable to walk in and they just make a plain outfit more interesting. Here is a link to my last blog post on them.
Random Favourites.
Anyone that knows me will know how much I love PLL, and the wait between the Halloween episode until this month has been agonizing for me. Now January saw the premiere of the rest of season 4, and it has got pretty intense. I am from England so unfortunately I have to watch it online the day after. I recommend this show to everyone (maybe not boys because it is pretty girly), I have been addicted since the first episode. It's just the best.
Lastly is my newest yankee candle. Now I adore these candles as I know a lot of people do. My favourite scent this month has been 'Lavender Spa'. It's lovely, and makes my whole room smell beautiful! Worth picking any of these up as they are honestly my favourite candles.
That is all of my favourites for this month. Thank you for reading, be sure to follow for more fashion and beauty posts! Comment below and let me know what your favourites are this month!
