these boots are made for walking

I thought I would show you guys my newest buy ( i literally mean today ). I have seen these boots everywhere lately and have been meaning to invest in a pair for so long, but I'm glad I didn't as my friend Nicole ordered these and they were too big, so i bought them for a little less than what they are. I would like to apologise again for the lighting and quality of these photos. I do live in England and it tends to always be dull and raining! But hey ho! These look so cute with anything really! I wore them today with Joni Jeans, a Harrington jacket and frilly black socks! My advice is to order them in a size SMALLER, as these are a size 5 and fit perfectly! (i am normally a size 6)

KYLIE JENNER INSPIRED | MAKE UP AND HAIR.

Hello again! Firstly I want to apoligise for the quality of photo. I'm currently having to work with my phone until I invest in a decent camera. This is my first 'inspired look' post, so please bare with me.

Make Up.

For the make up this is pretty much my every day look anyway. I used all drugstore products as well!
First of all I moisturized my skin before applying foundation. I then went in with my 'Wake Me Up' foundation and my Real Techniques buffing brush and buffed it into my face to create a 'flawless' look, as Kylie always has that.
Next I covered up any blemishes with the matching concealer, and then took the 'Match Perfection' concealer by Rimmel and used it under my eyes as it is also a highlighter to create the 'bright' look that Kylie has under her eyes. I set all of that with my 'Stay Matte' powder.
Next I moved onto eyebrows but I won't talk about this step as I couldn't recreate Kylie's so just did what I do every day, which is fill them in with a brown eyeshadow.
I continued on to put the tiniest bit of my MUA mosaic blush onto my cheeks, and contoured with the ever so famous Bourjois 'chocolate' bronzer.
Next was eyes, now Kylie doesn't have a lot of eyeshadow on, so I just ran a matte brown through my crease, and put a light cream shade onto my lid. I then took my Rimmel 'Glam Eyes' eyeliner, and drew the wing first, then continued on to put it along my lash line. By drawing the wing first I find I make less mistakes and therefore don't need to go back and touch it up afterwards.
Obviously I curled my eyelashes as Kylie has such amazing eyes. I then used the L'oreal 'Miss Manga' mascara, and put a few coats of that on to add volume and make them look longer.
Last but no least was the lips, now for this I used the Topshop shade 'inhibition' which is a dark purple colour and just coated my lips in that.

Hair.

Hair was pretty easy. All I did was straighten my hair. I then went through and used my backcombing brush to add volume and to make sure it wasn't flat.
Because Kylie has such textured looking hair, I went and sprayed my L'oreal 'Matte and Messy' salt spray to add that 'messy' look to it.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed. I shall be putting up a 'Kylie Jenner inspired outfit' soon too, so make sure you follow to see that! Leave comments below, and I'll talk to you all again soon!

ASOS WISHLIST

So I thought I would do a fashion post for a change. This will be my 'ASOS Wishlist'. I was looking on ASOS the other day and I was falling in love with all of the stuff on there, but I have picked out about 6 items that I really love and will be buying for sure when I next get paid! Now please bare in mind I couldn't find the actual link to the sunglasses in the first photo, but I have found similar on the website.

First is this beautiful skater type dress. It is only £25 which I think is a steal! I cannot wait to order this. It looks to be the perfect length, it's not too short and it's not too long, the long sleeves mean you can wear it during the winter with a pair of tights and still be warm. It's such a versatile yet simple piece.

I am not normally a 'boot' type of girl, I much prefer sticking to my converses, but there is something about these Chelsea boots which I adore. I think they look amazing on anyone, and they are so easy to walk in. I have been trying to search for the perfect pair to buy and I honestly think these boots are the one. They are on the website for just £42!

Skater skirts are essential as far as I'm concerned, and I think this one is lovely. The braces attached to it spice up the outfit and it helps to make the outfit more interesting and I love it. For only £20 as well! Skater skirts flatter all figures and I believe anyone could rock this skirt.
This crop top is not the same colour as the one in the photo as I couldn't find it again but it is exactly the same style. I think these crop tops look so interesting and the 'off the shoulder' look is something I am loving at the moment. This is only £8 on the website and I think these are a staple for anyone's wardrobe. They look amazing with high-waisted jeans and skirts.

These glasses are also not the same as the ones in the first picture but I just wanted to show this style of sunglasses. I think they are so flattering and I love them so much. They have loads on the website and ASOS never disappoint with the quality of their products so I am ordering from here for sure!

Thank you all for reading. Be sure to follow for more beauty and fashion. Leave comments telling me what you would like to see on my blog as well! TTYL (ew cringe)

TOP 10 DRUGSTORE PRODUCTS.

Hello! So I decided today I would share with you all my top 10 drugstore products. All of these products are under £10 and they are all so amazing!

First of all I have the MUA 'undress your skin' highlighter. The price of this highlighter is just £3, which is amazing for how wonderful this product is. Just add a touch of this to your cheek bones, cupids bow and nose and your good to go with a natural looking glow to your skin. It's also a multi-purpose product as I also like to use this as eyeshadow as well, it really brightens up your whole look.

For my second product I picked out the MUA (I promise you I will include more brands) 'English Rose' blush. It is the most wonderful shade of pink and it adds the 'I've just been outside in the cold' look to your cheeks and leaves them looking not too over done. It also really highlights your cheeks and makes them stand out. Now this product is very blue toned so if you don't like that then I wouldn't really recommend this to you.

Next I have the Rimmel 'Stay Matte' powder. Now if you follow a lot of beauty bloggers and watch their youtubes and stuff like that then you will know how 'raved' about this product is, but there is a reason for that. It is so affordable (£3.99 in superdrug) and it helps to set your makeup and keep it in place for most of the day as well as adding a matte finish to your whole look.

The Bourjois 'Chocolate' Bronzer or whatever it is actually called is the perfect drugstore product for contouring in my opinion. It is a matte bronzer and the pigmentation is amazing, and the amount the brush picks up and adds to your cheeks is so good for something from the drugstore. It really helps to define your face and for only £6.99 you couldn't go wrong!

Next is the ever so famous topshop lipsticks. They are £8 and I think all topshop stores sell them if I am correct. They have such great pigmentation and a lovely formula which doesn't dry out your lips and leave them looking yucky. My favourite shade they do is 'Inhibition' which is this lovely dark purple, I know it looks a little scary but it suits most skintones I find really well. They are such amazing lipsticks. I would rather buy these than MAC ones, and for almost half the price as well!

The next product is the Rimmel 'Glam Eyes' liquid eyeliner. Obviously I had to include this as it is the best one I have tried so far. The brush I find is so easy to work with and it's really easy to create a nice wing with this eyeliner too. It sells in shops for only £5.29 and as you can tell from the state of the packaging mine has seen some loving. I use it every single day without fail but I really need to try some more ones. So if you have any recommendations please leave them below in the comments.

The mascara I picked was the 'Miss Manga' mascara by L'oreal. How could I not include this?! It is the best mascara I have ever tried. It retails for £8.99 but some shops might have it on special offer. I won't go into too much detail as I have a review on it which you can read if you click here.

I picked the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' foundation as it leaves such a beautiful finish, it really makes your skin glow and look radiant without making you look plastic. It has a medium coverage but you can build it up to full if you blend it properly into your skin. The price of this foundation is only £8.99 but most of the time superdrug have it on offer for only £5.99!

Of course I had to pick the matching concealer. This concealer gives such a good coverage, I would only use this for under your eyes because it highlights a little bit, and their is nothing worse than highlighting the fact that you have a blemish! The price is £5.49 and is the best one I have tried yet.

Last but not least (cringe oops) is the maybelline 'Colour Tattoo' eyeshadows. These are pretty much a dupe for the MAC paintpots and for a fraction of the price. You can use them as a base or just alone if you want. They come in a range of different colours, but my favourite is the 'pink gold' which is the beautiful shade in the pictures. They are only £4.99 and last for ages!

Thank you so much everyone for reading this. Be sure to follow me for more beauty posts. I will be posting more often from now on. Leave me comments as I need more ideas for blog posts and let me know what you would like to see.

NEW YEAR | NEW HAIR

I have never posted a picture on here before but my hair was past my boobs just a few days ago. I was feeling spontaneous and I saw Kylie Jenner and Lily Melrose rocking their short hair so I thought f it, I'll cut it, and that's exactly what I did!

The left was the length of my hair before (baring in mind it's curly here so when it's straight it went quite a bit longer) and to the right is the length it is now. I prefer it so much as my hair was in such bad condition.

I hadn't had it cut in just under a year, and I used to use quite a bit of heat on it which didn't do it any good and gave me loads of split ends, but now it's so healthy and it doesn't look (or feel) like straw. I'm so happy with it and I would recommend to everyone who's debating on cutting their hair to just do it! It's made me feel a lot better about the way it looks and it now gives me a chance to look after it properly and keep all the dead and split ends away.

I will now be getting it cut every 6-8 weeks to make sure I don't have to chop this much off again, even though I love the length of it now!

I shall post a hair care routine soon and also post hair updates every couple of months or so just to keep you all up to date and also to help myself to take care of it more!

Thank you for reading, be sure to follow for more beauty and fashion posts and leave comments too!

Review | L'oreal 'Miss Manga' Masacara!

Today's post is a review on the new L'oreal 'Miss Manga' mascara. Now, with mascara's I'm not one to go out and try loads of new ones, I normally stick to Benefit They're Real, and my Rimmel 'Scandaleyes' but from some reason something attracted me to this new one. I love the way it was advertised, and with Barbara Palvin modelling it how could I not want to try it?!

I have only had it for a few days but so far I love it! The packaging is very sleek and simple, with a pink lid and black body. I know packaging isn't important but to me it sometimes is. sometimes I won't buy something unless I like the look of the packaging.
I would upload a picture of what it actually looks like on my eyelashes but seeing as I don't have a camera right now and all the pictures I upload are from my phone, it is very hard to get a decent picture which shows how beautiful this product is.

The brush is amazing, it has the ability to bend all different ways so you can reach each and every eyelash.

When using this mascara I feel as if it makes my eyelashes look 10x longer, fuller and adds so much volume, it gives the effect of wearing natural looking false eyelashes (if that makes any sense whatsoever). Because the wand can bend, it ables you to apply this to your bottom eyelashes and helps to really open and widen your eyes.

I would 100% recommend this mascara to anyone! It is fab. I picked this up in Superdrug (boots also have the same offer on) for £5.99 on a special introductory offer (it is normally £8.99 which is still an amazing price for a mascara) so go and pick one up at your local drugstore.

Thank you guys so much for reading. Be sure to check out the rest of my blog and follow for more beauty and fashion posts and reviews!

WHATS IN MY MAKEUP BAG.

Hey guys! So I thought I would do this as I've had my blog for a little while now, and I personally love reading this post. Now everything in my makeup is from the drugstore and is all very affordable. I shall try and leave the prices underneath.
(please excuse my babygrow in the corner, i really need to get better
at taking pictures tbh oops)

The first product is pretty boring, but it is an essential for me as I suffer from really bad dry and cracked lips. Excuse the state of the pot, it has been well loved and is looking damaged but oh well. Find Vaseline in many drugstores for around £1.99.

The second product is the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' foundation which I apply using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush (found in the core collection, available in superdrug for £20.99). This foundation is amazing. It leaves a lovely finish and as a medium - full coverage, and is so easy to build up. This foundation is £8.99 in the drugstore. In my personal opinion it is the best drugstore foundation out there.
I use the foundation with the matching concealer, personally this concealer isn't the best coverage wise but for the price of £5.49 it is pretty good. (I will soon be changing this to the Collection lasting perfection once I have used this one all up). I apply this with a Real Techniques deluxe crease brush which I think blends it beautifully.
Next is my Avon palette, I cannot actually tell you the name of any of these shades as they did not include them on the packaging which is pretty poo of them. As you can see the brown shade is really the only one I use as I use it to fill in my eyebrows. It does an amazing job and stays on all day.
Now obviously as a beauty blogger I have to include the Rimmel 'Stay Matte' powder because it is the best one I have ever tried and it is so so so cheap too. It retails at just £3.99! It sets foundation and concealer so beautifully and keeps it on all day and prevents any shine. It's a bargain!
The MUA mosaic blush in the shade 'English Rose' needs more recognition in my opinion. It is only £2.50 and it is the most amazing blush. It highlights as well and leaves such a beautiful natural looking glow on the skin. I apply this with a French Connection blush brush and it is the best one I've ever tried.
I got lazy and included all of these in the same photo, sorry! For my waterline eyeliner everyday I use the MUA intense colour eyeliner pencil. It is only £1!

My favorite mascara at the moment is the Rimmel 'Scandaleyes flex'. It doesn't clump any eyelashes together and gives them so much more length and volume. They always have this on offer as well, but the original price is £6.99.

Next is the Rimmel (can you tell I like Rimmel a lot yet or?) 'Glam eyes' liquid eyeliner. I find that the brush makes it so easy to do a perfect wing and it stays on all day without smudging. It is £5.29 in superdrug.

Now is for my most recent makeup purchase and it is now by far my favorite lipstick. It is in the shade 'Inhibition' from Topshop. It stays on all day and has a beautiful matte finish. I prefer this to any other lipsticks from the drugstore. It costs £8 which is fab (and student discount too, woohoo). I recommend everyone to try this because even though it looks a little scary, it is the best.

Anyway guys, thank you for reading. Be sure to follow for more posts to do with beauty and fashion!  I would love to hear what's in your makeup bag too so comment below!

My 2014 bucket list!

Hello again everyone! Today I thought that I would write a quick bucket list for 2014. This will be something I can refer back to during the year and cross off all the things I have completed by the end of it. Hope you enjoy this post and be sure to follow to see more posts on beauty, fashion and lifestyle! Thank you.

1. Be a more positive person - I find that I'm quite negative, especially towards myself and I want to change that this year!
2. Be less lazy and join a gym! - I'm a sucker for staying in and munching out on junk food, but it is ruining my body and I need to tone up!
3. Go on holiday to Paris with my boyfriend. (once I get my passport, oops)
4. Pass college with all distinctions.
5. Move out and get into university.
5. Visit Australia for a month in December and spend Christmas with my family out there.
6. Be more social - I struggle so much with meeting new people and socializing, I literally almost cry and that needs to change!
7. Get into contact with my old friends from high school - and stay in contact with my friends from college.
8. Finally pluck up the courage to make a youtube account - hopefully.
9. Explore the world more.
10. Hit 4k followers on twitter.
11. Get over one of my many phobias.
12. Save more money every month.
13. Blog at least 5 times a week - if I have the time.
14. Meet and talk to more fellow beauty and fashion bloggers.

That is all I can think of for now - I may come back and edit throughout the year when I think of more! Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy and follow to see more.
Leave your new years resolutions/bucket list below, I would love to read them!

MAC Matchmaster review!

Hello guys! Today I'm going to be doing a review on the 'MAC - Matchmaster' foundation. This is the first high end foundation product I have ever bought and honestly so far I am in love with it.
It is such a high coverage. Now I suffer from bad spots and blemishes all year round and this covers them up almost completely in one layer which is just fab!
Matchmaster packaging.
(p.s excuse the foundation marks on it, oops)

The consistency of this foundation is just amazing, and it adapts to the skintone, so if you're like me and get a little bit of a tan in the summer time, you don't have to worry about finding a new shade! Even better!
The bottle is 35ml which is pretty big. The drugstore foundation I use is Rimmels 'Wake me up' which is only 30ml and I find it doesn't last all day compared to this one. The finish on this foundation is matte which I adore. It looks so beautiful and flawless on the skin. I would recommend this to anyone who loves high coverage and matte finishes.
This retails at £27, which is such a good price for something so good! It lasts all day, and you need the tiniest drop to cover your whole face.

Thank you so much for reading guys! Be sure to follow to see more beauty/fashions posts and reviews!
